FAQ’s

How does it work?

Homeopathic remedies carry information from a substance’s original source (plants, animals, or minerals) in nature.  They carry information, in the form of energy, to the Vital Force (Life Force).  Homeopathic remedies connect you to your Innate Potential to balance, or make well.  The ability to get well lies within you.  When using the homeopathic remedy, this energetic connection helps restore you to wellness.

What will your homeopath need to know?

In order to find the right remedy for you, your homeopath needs to compile a detailed understanding of who you are in order to correctly assess your case. This understanding includes diet, lifestyle, medical history, and how you actually perceive the world.  Anything you say to your homeopathic provider is held in strictest confidence.  The duration of initial consultation is approximately two hours.

What will treatment involve?

After the initial consultation, an assessment is given and a homeopathic remedy is generally prescribed. Once administered, you may notice some immediate changes. Many report experiencing a sense of well-being and optimism. Sometimes a releasing of deeply held patterns occurs, whether emotional or physical.  It is possible for the release of these to occur in the form of a cold, rash, or discharge. Should these symptoms occur, note that they are an integral part of this process toward wellness.

How long does treatment last?

Treatment depends on the severity of illness and other characteristics of your case. Duration of treatment can be difficult to assess, and it may take until after a second appointment to fully predict the treatment timeline. Usually, the process to re-attain balance in the body can take longer for chronic complaints, while acute symptoms may see immediate improvement.

Homeopathy and Conventional Medicine

Homeopathic medicines operate differently from conventional medicines, and both can be used together. It is recommended to maintain your relationship with your general medicine practitioner as it may help to combine the two systems of traditional and alternative medicines.
